Indians Lose 8 in a Row...but the Indians do look like they care and I expect them to come out of the losing streak a better team and make a strong run for the playoffs.

Alex, that's wishful thinking. I think some good can come out of this season, but I don't see them going anywhere this year. Now's the time to start playing guys like Peralta, Phillips and bringing up Tallet, Traber, Ludwick etc.

There's so much talent on the way up, let's see what they can do. Of course it's only a few days until the rosters expand, so I guess we'll need to wait a little.

I think it should all be about pitching now. Can Jason Davis be an effective reliever? What about some of the other minor league relievers?

If Lee and CC and Westbrook bog down in the sixth inning, would anyone really care if our bullpen could be effective for 3-4 innings a game?

I'm not going to be comfortable sitting Belliard and Omar this year. I really think we should stay competitive on the field but try a bunch of pitchers out.

Too bad Matt Lawton is petering out a bit.
