I'll bet Jaret tosses a 3-hit shutout in his return today. Just a hunch.
Otherwise, I guess we're at the low point of the long season.

I'll take that bet for $5000.

Wouldn't it be nice if Charlie was the one who tossed that 3 hitter and we could deal him?

Ytown, do you play poker?
Too bad about Jaret. I didn't get to see the game, but apparently he had no command. With Nagy and Phillips doing well, I doubt if he will get another start so soon.
Nagy was unbelievable. We just can't put this guy to rest. Good for him.
Look at Wohlers! He's been unhittable the last few outings. Maybe George would like him back?
If not, he can have Wickman. Why do we need a closer this year? Plus Wick has been mighty lucky. Opposing batters are hitting something like .290 against him. No bueno.
Just when I had given up on Broussard (for awhile) he gets hot and even looks confident up there. I think he will be a good one.
Snyder did fine at 3rd, but I only saw routine plays (2nd game), but he looked helpless at the plate, getting almost all curves and changeups.
I'm still hoping we can get Larson from Cincy.

As a matter of fact, I do play poker -- not badly either.
Anyway, Dennis Leonard tossed a three-hit shutout when he made his comeback for the Royals.
Jaret Wright did not.
