I really think a committee wouldn't work. I think that any kind of decissions have to be made by team owners as a group. The last thing we need is a small group of owners trying to run the show. For our sake and theirs.

A lottery will increase Tanking, and worse it will afect play-off possibilities more. because borderline teams will have a stronger urge to TANK due to being able to steal first by just falling outside of the Play-offs.

Lottery isn't the answer to tanking. A Competition Comitee would be.

Groups still influence everything regardless.
This was just siuggested as a True answer to the "problem" of tnaking, insteda of supposing that a Draft Lottery woudl reduce tanking at all.
I think tanking is a part of life. It happens all the time in pro sports. No coach or GM would say that they do it but in some circumstances it would be crazy not to tank.
However using a lottery at least makes it a more risky option. There is no guarantee that having the worst record is going to give you the #1 pick. Sure some people will try to increase the chance of their team losing. But other people will rest their starters once their playoff position is guaranteed. It?s just a part of the game.

KNowinig you are on the outside of the play-offs, tanking becomes MORE attractive with a L9ttery. you coudl have had a fair season and drop 3 at the end and miraclusly end up with the top pick.
And those last gemaes are ones that will affect the play-off scenarios more, as they influence the match-ups and home court advantage.
