You cannot record to codec and Dream at same time because of different sync. Recording will be unstable. By the way codec has wery noisy input. Best way to record to Dream (Ln2), and codec must be off.

    Hi,
After many try,I must say thaT I think it's impossible to make a simultaneaous record with wave and codec record.
Even if you can select both the two inputs in a programm like cakewalk or cubase, the problem comes from the ews.
    In the panel control:
You can select inputs with A-D-M.
A represent the analog input of the synthetiser(eg LN2,wave record)
D represent the same input but digital
M represent the codec input(eg LN1, codec record).
The problem is that you must select A OR M and not A AND M.
I don't know if it's a software or hardware problem.
But this shows the biggest problem of the EWS:THE CODEC.
Why make two different inputs if you can't use them simultenaously. When you will have to record, you will always take the LN2(wave record) because of his better performance.
    Personnally,I never used codec.
That's not all: According to me,the CODEC has a very bad influence on this card.
    This is my opinion,and yours??
