Host board question

Hi everyone!

Has anyone noticed that your "status" bar at the bottom of your computer screen stays pretty active when looking at the topics page of this forum? It's as though there is a ton of stuff being downloaded in background. I am a member of many forums and this is the only one that does this. What is it? Any ideas? Thanks.....Lee

It's the banner ads near the the top of the page reloading every so often. Minor annoyance to help pay for the service.
