has anyone tried the deqx 2.6 with their a7's? i've had a pair of a7's for a year and have been trying to figure out what to do with the xo. to replace the caps and leave the autoformers seems short of the mark. i thought about replacing the autoformer with an inductor fixed to my preferred setting, but i would like more flexibility than that would allow. most of the active xo's i've looked at seem to have equal but different problems when compared to passive xo's. the deqx is expensive but seems to promise a lot of solutions.

The DEQX from Australia is based on Lake Contour,s technology, and supposed to be the best DSP processor out there! The DEQX, I am told, is for two channel two speaker stereo! Its pro counterpart, the lake Contour for larger systems!

Supposedly, if one takes the time to program this thing, you get unbelievable results! BUT, the KEY word here is PROGRAMMING it properly, and not using the auto program feature! They say this companys DAC,s dont have that typically " Digital " sound!

Of course, the things you can do with the unit, is incredible, and I would imagine properly set up, to get outstanding results!

The one to talk to about DEQX would be Mr. Widget on the Lansing Heritage site, www.audioheritage.org. He has it and says its great!
