The MI-9584, also later in A, B, C versions, was RCA's standard theatre horn driver from sometime in the 1950s until they exited the industrial sound business. Like some of the earlier RCA models, these were underappreciated and undervalued until fairly recently. These used to sell for $50 or less, but often bring $300 - $400 these days. They have a light phenolic diaphragm and offer very sweet sound up to 8kHz. or so.
