I believe the other model you are referring to is the Valencia model with a N-801-8A crossover network if my memory serves me right.

Actually i'm pretty sure Gary is referring to the 123X series of sound reinforcement speakers.
While i agree that most any combination of components could be custom ordered, i kinda doubt they ever sold 123X series boxes with 416s, BUT, i have come to acknowledge that nearly anything is possible.................... after all i have 802's with labels that say they're symbiotik!
All of the 123X with the exception of the 1230 were rated at 120 watts continuous long term. The whole pitch of the 123X series was high power handling/high output.
I think there'd be some serious warranty claim problems with 416's on board, unless there was a clause that waived the warranty on specially equipped variants.
My 1234's were loaded with 421-8LF, 511/808-8B, and a very stripped down version of N-12XX crossover.
Gary, i think the box you're thinking of is the 1233, it was a 15 (421 of some variety 921's in late models) and the 811 horn, the 1234 was the same box except with the larger 511 horn. 1235 was 421 in 816V cabinet with 511/808, and 1236 was 421 in an 828 with 511/808. The 1235 and 1236 also used the N-1209 crossover.

Not the Valencia at all!
1235 is the one and it is nearly impossible to distinguish 811 from 511 horns in a front view photo. The 1235/816V enclosure came with 1209 XOs and this XO is almost always associated with the 808-8B tangerine drivers that have loading caps and pascalite diaphragms for higher power.
As stated above, big differences exist between 1201/19 XOs and 1209 XOs and I am pretty sure it is mainly due to the HF drivers and higher power ratings.
I can't see any reason why a wizzard couldn't rebuild the 1209 to 1201 specs given the info from Dave regarding the cap specs and some knowledge of the filtering incorporated (Zobel)in the 1201/19s.
Here is a set I had built on the Model 15 XO frames which are identicle to the 19 and 1201/1209 frames.
I don't know the particulars involved but am told that anything is possible once you know the drivers you want to use and what you want the XO to do.

Those are newer spec sheets, with the Tangerine.

Had 418 and 421. I sincerely doubt anything like this came 416 but...never say never.

The old gray matter just dumped out- the 418 and 416 had similar magnets- from the rear or minus cones would be very hard to tell apart OEM versions.
