Hi Cut-throat, I hope you don't ever plan on selling them as you may have a hard time selling that's why I feel it is always best to leave them stock. They will always be worth more money all original or stock Regards ~ A B
On average you are probably right. -- But all you need is one buyer.
With that said, I have had these horns for over 5 years now, and I just returned from the Denver RMAF and didn't hear anything that made me want to switch. I did see some nicer paint jobs on some horns though, which gave me the idea.
What did you see in Denver that you liked?
I was there but too busy too see/hear much.
The one system That I really liked was the Acapella Violin speakers powered by OTL Einstein Amps. -- Maybe $200K work of gear however.
Classic Audio Reproductions has some nice horn speakers.
Saw a lot more there that I didn't like however. -- A lot of Whiz Bang HIFI sound.
Yeah, everything's relative. Back when I was into playing at amateur, semi-pro racing, I knew folks so wealthy that $200k was pocket change and most apparently got that way by never paying their bills except with other people's money (OPM)..........
That said, some got lucky and backed into extreme wealth almost overnight, so didn't have a clue how to act/deal with it other than going on a buying spree based primarily on price to show how well off they were and I assume this is the primary market for most over-priced 'anything', especially WRT audio. With even the 'nouveau riche' cutting back (surprising the number of $high end$ vehicles that can be found parked at Wal-Mart these days), I imagine that this market is mostly MIA for awhile yet.

Loud is Beautiful if it's Clean! As always though, the usual disclaimers apply to this post's contents.
I agree most people that have some money right now I think are saving it to see where this "Crappy" economy is going. The stock market just went over 10,000 for the first time in a long time so maybe will see some things loosen up abit.Keep your fingers crossed. That we can all start spending on our "High End" sound systems again. To everyone out there Kind Regards ~ A B
