I would bet a hundred bucks it's not Altec or WE.

But as to what it is....I just plain don't know. Looks older to me, at least early 50's.

Yes, I agree it isn't Altec. I thought maybe WE, but I have zero to back that up. I wonder if it may be Vitavox or Klangfilm.

My first reaction frankly was Vitavox...then I started thinking, DuKane was the importer for Vitavox, EV and DuKane worked a lot together back then, at least on the ill fated T3500.
    A quick Google for Vitavox horns...and I think I have a suspect...

    The unofficial Vitavox website- RH330

They came possibly thru DuKane to EV...the EV T40 driver the seller has looks like it came on that horn new?

I think you found it....... although, the throat/adapter look different, I think that's the right horn.

    Vitavox sez...

" It has a 90 x 30 degree distribution pattern, a horn cut off of 330 Hz and a 2.3 inch x 1.5 inch rectangular aperture flange which will take various adaptors"

I'm about 80-90% we nailed it...

Last pic shows the flange is a little wider than height..tried to link to pic but didn't work.

Amazing that this ebay listing survived ebay's auto rejection software that does not allow multiple brands in title (I've had auctions cancelled by them for trying this).

Seems ebay is getting so beaten up by Craigslist now that they have relaxed the rules (and lowered their listing fees too I see)

They may have software that checks, but the software cant possibly know every brand. A lot of it relies on people using the report button....... I use it all the time. I hate it went people throw in other brands that have nothing to do with the auction. One way they do it, is to say that something can be used with brand A, brand b, brand c, brand d, etc. It's stupid, it's like selling tires, and then listing every car manufacturer that make expensive cars, just to drive up the number of people who find the auction.

Hey Audio by Goodwill, have you ever been to Benton Harbor - former home of Heathkit ?
I went there once and found it to be a ghost town with beautiful old commercial buildings empty. I like ghost towns and would like to visit more in Mich. If you want to see a grander version of Benton Harbor, check out St Joseph MO - it's a ghost city !
