    Re: Power wire

I use an ACS300 low pass filter to condition the branch that powers my amps and computers and good 'ol 12 awg NM-2.

The biggest improvement, for me, was the isolated, independent, ground that goes to it's own ground rod and NOT through the main service panel. This ground does not go to the power amps. It is restricted to the HT computer and the DI (Direct Injection) boxes - with ground lift. No ground loops, no hum. Very important with my Altec A10's which fill the room with a couple of mili-watts.

    The A10s with the 311-90 / 291 drivers, 4 515's, over 800 lbs. and over 8' tall, not the A10-MR945.
