That was a popular detail pattern for 60's DIY knotty pine furniture, they'd be almost a perfect match for a hutch and gun cabinet i have made by a local handy fella in............ well the early 60's.

What I object to most is the bar going across. If that was gone, the rest wouldn't be too bad..... still not great, in my opinion, but I could live with it.
