Hello :waver: to all from Stephen in Harrison, AR. a brand new member that was driven to join by an Altec project I'm pursuing for a cousin, whose father repaired, installed and operated theater equipment from the 50's through the 70's.

I'm trying to get a pair of Altec 1611A mixer/amplifiers and a pair of Altec 351B amplifiers in shape for him to use as a home stereo. They've been in storage for many years so the first step will be much cleaning. I'm by no means an electronics tech, but an electrician that knows how to solder, which can be a dangerous combination. However I promise to try to "do no harm" to these Altec pieces as I try to get them in working order.

My cousin has a rather large shop that he'd like to get "well filled" with sound. I'm already after to him to start looking for some big 'ol Altec theater speakers.
