These sold at my local antique auction house, a week ago for 600.00 plus auction fees. I wished I would have went, but was discouraged after a pair of magnificients a few weeks ago sold at the same auction for over a 1000 with fees. Everytime I high end piece of EQ shows up there, it almost goes for ebay prices. will be interesting to see where these end up?
would be interesting to know who built them and how close they followed the basic 825/828 design. These must be the ones the "Homebrew" thread was about.
FWIW, a pair of genuine Magnificent cabinets would easily be worth 1K, empty.

These with the stubby little ottoman legs are actually very nicely trimmed cabinets, they look to have been built, or at least finished by a pretty good cabinet guy. Nice! Looks like they could be substantial with not a lotta work.
I'm glad they're far away from me.
