long before i ever considered Altecs, (though i remember them from the local theater). i distinctly remember this ad as a youngster. mostly from the penthouses and playboys, we all as adolecents might have appropriated out of curiuosity.

I've seen that ad online lately on historical sites, but don't remember it from back in the day. Neither subject in the ad has good WAF

Don't recall that one, but if it was only in men's magazines, then I missed them all after the Summer of '64.

Mid to late seventies, if I recall. There was also a 24"x 34" poster. Unfortunately, I don't have the poster, but I do have a personal picture somewhere, of some Anaheim warehouse employee's, with the poster on the wall in the background. Nice piece of Altec marketing.
