0T? Altec emblems from hong kong

i have recently tried to buy a pair of these altec emblems on ebay. i don't really want to pay more than 25$ for them. first they're advertised as "antiques" when 99 to one they're reproductions. and while they say they're copper. they might only be copper colored. i messaged the seller and asked if they are reproductions. i have yet to hear back.
checking out his feedback. i notice he has 100% rating. but when you look at the list, there's multiple low feedback users in a row with the exact same comment.
honestly something doesn't seem right about the way his auctions work out. someone always bids in the last 6 seconds, that puts the bid over 22- 25 $ if i didn't know any better, i'd swear he jacking the bid by proxy. either that or a few people are making a habit out of sniper bidding his auctions

    check out these bid historys

He's probably jacking the bids. I tried for a couple of years to get a set of these and was outbid by the same amount every time. I finally bit the bullet and got them for the same amount. I'm a sucker, I did twice. I got the ones listed as Flamenco and another pair of the older style with concentric circles and larger conductor. One thing, they're smaller than I was expecting but I wanted them for amp badges not speakers.

One is copper-ish, in color. The other bears a striking resemblance to bronze. They're metal and a bit too heavy to be zinc die-cast by the feel of them. They might actually be copper and bronze.

if they are copper or bronze then they would be worth at least 25$. in the future, i would be more inclined to buy a set only if he had a buy it now price. otherwise, i'm playing no games with him.
