Good eyes Tom and I first looked at them and did a double take!
All I could figure is a guy with a dremel tool and lots of time on his hands that ran out half way through the project! LOL
I would be willing to bet that after all that work, the resulting sound differences wouldn't ammount to a hill of beans!
I have had customers tell me the horns look so "Masculine" with those crude welds so I always put them back up on a shelf rather then bend over and put em on the floor!
I also have a few 811 horns that were done on a monday of friday or by an apprentice welder!
JB Weld works quite well for filling in the worst of the welding!
