I was looking at this A9/A10 sheet and noticed the 511D horn.

Is it much different to a 511B?

I'll bet you a bag of beans that the 511D was probably a factory damped 511B. Logic should suggest(to me anyway) that in a system with tandem or quad 515's, a small format horn/driver combination is going to take an acoustic pounding on a regular basis.Originally Posted by mah

FWIW, I was told at the time by the local distributor that it was a 511B heavily coated with Aquaplas to pay 'lip service' to the 311's coating, but never actually saw one.

must of needed a whole team of guys to move them around at 510 and 815lbs. very heavy cabinets.
