I use a narrow natural bristle brush that you can get from Walmart , and
I trim the bristles so they are about 3/4 inch long.
as I recall, the solvent is toulene..............GC
I have noticed that some send their drivers great distances to have them rehabbed, I know Jean Hiraga does. I talked to GPA and they recommend acetone for their compound. Has anyone done this or can give guidance to the procedure or favorite techniques.

Thanks 604man, I am pretty sure that Bill said they use acetone, maybe toluene was used for the original Altec goop, that I read was a banned product. Thanks again!
Hmm, bought some Toluene recently at the local hardware store, but Googling it I see it's now banned in a lot of places. Bummer, it's my favorite paint thinner/stripper.

I use Acetone and rub the old glue off with fingers.
