    Dancing Altecs

Do your Altecs dance? Mine stand still where put, at least when I am looking.

Seriously, what do these speakers offer at $14000 that a GM MLTL or a Stonehenge 5 can't?
Opinion is only as valid as its verifiable supporting evidence.

I have never heard anybody elses Altecs. I would love to hear these $14,000 versions. My Altecs dont dance either but they have been known to cause me to get up and boogie.

Mine are way too heavy to 'dance' or moved without the casters, handles on the rear or similar.

For $14K I would like to see actual joinery, rather than a whole bunch of screws holding the cabinet together.
