Thank you. Nothing fancy...Just a modest set-up.
The 604 portray a large and wide soundstage. As usual, Altec sounded great even with just a couple watts from a 2A3 SE.
I have had a pair of Onken loaded with 416 and 511 with a pair of 902 before. After moving to 620A and 604, I prefer the later.
The Onken excels in the vocal; probably due to the larger horn. However, I felt the 620A has a better balance on the overall music
presentation.

They look lovely. Who built the 620 cabinets?

Thanks...Got a local carpenter to build up the cabinet according to the plan from Altec. Made out of 1" marine ply. with internal brazing and felt padding.
