Does anybody have any A7 grills for sale know where I might get some? I missed a nice pair on eBay a while ago. What's the approx current price for gills?

I thought about just making some on my own to keep the mice and dust out.

Any special fabric to use. Does anyone ever put grills in the curved bass section?

My speakers are in my art and furniture design studio and it's a dirty environment.

    Thanks all.

I have some if anyone wants to come get them. However, they won't keep mice out, only children or grandchildren.

I have an art studio as well so I know why you want to protect your drivers. I am vaneering the outside of my A7s with rosewood and the inside of the woofer curves with oak. I am putting very sheer grill cloth over the woofer face before I install it in the box, that should offer some protection. Cheers and good luck.

Always use acoustically transparent grille cloth for speaker systems - NEVER use anything else! Ordinary fabrics mask the sound at various frequencies...

You can get the fabric at Radio Shack in stadard widths, and from a reputable sound contractor at larger widths.
