If I run a Tech ACL90 cable on my chainlink fence from the house to my shed would this be acceptable as per code?
Would I need to put a grounding rod in at the shed also?
    Your help would be appreciated.

TECK90 is the only cable that should be considered for this job. ACL is not available anymore.

Whether you can run it on the fence legally depends on many factors, such as the height of the fence, exposure to damage, etc. It's the inspector's call.

Keep in mind liability and insurance issues.

No grounding electrode is required at the shed if there are no livestock housed there, and a wiring method that includes an equipment bonding (grounding) conductor is used, such as the TECK cable.
