I mean it's one thing to leave....but to go to the YANKOFF'S??
I must say, I am glad I heard it from you, it kinda lessened the blow for when i went downstairs to watch the evening news.
Well, Johnny Damon, kiss yer hair and your beard good bye, cuz ya gotta be all clean shaven w/short hair.
And while yer there Johnny, Kick A-rod, in the bal** for me.

"I want to stay here, but I may walk and go home. I might shut it down in a couple of years.
"There's no way I can go play for the Yankees, but I know they are going to come after me hard. It's definitely not the most important thing to go out there for the top dollar, which the Yankees are going to offer me. It's not what I need.
"I'd like to finish my career here [Boston]. I'm not sure they'll let me do it, if they offer me [only] two or three years [on a contract]. I want at least four or five.
-- Johnny Damon, 5/01/05, on MLB.com
.....
a nice quote....
what a dick......
but on a good note he will have to prove A LOT in ny.and the shitty yankee fans will at least give him hell til he does...
your right kassy one thing to leave but to go to the yankees.....
I think he did it as a shot to boston also...
he ruined his time here in boston .what a shithead...
and to quote jim caple of espn.com......Damon will regret this. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but as soon as he gets his tires slashed in Boston. ....

^GOD^.. I am so glad you posted that interview Johnny had in May.
I hope the N.Y. fans tear him a new one, esp. after leading all the Boston fans to believe he would want to stay here etc.....
Most peeps probably don't get where you and I are coming from....but this is a knife thru the heart.
I want Damon to know NOW, that he fu**** up..and not only is all of Boston upset with him...But as you said ^ GOD^....he has to prove himself to those ************* N.Y. fans.
He is after the almighty $$$.......which in turn means he never cared about you, me, or any other faithful fan.......
His tires do deserve to be slashed......
SHAME ON YOU JOHNNY DAMON.........OH...AND BY THE WAY....YOU ALWAYS SAID WE WERE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS.....YOU SIR......ARE THE BIGGEST F'N IDIOT......GOOD LUCK TO YOU WHEN WE KICK YER ASS NEXT YEAR.....
AND YES PEEPS I KNOW THIS IS ALL IN CAPS.....grrrrrrrrrrr....
Hang in there ^GOD^.........
We will kick some serious "spankoff ass" next year..........
