mmmm swiss vogel's bread.... deeeeeeeeeelicious... all those lovely whole grains to chew on...wonderfully dense bread
for those unfamiliar with this wonderful product, here's some history
Vogel's Bread was founded on Dr Vogel's original Swiss recipe in 1952. Since its introduction over 40 years ago, Vogel's unique style of mixed grain breads has become a household name in Australia, England, New Zealand, and other countries around the world.
Vogel's Mixed Grain Bread is still based almost entirely on Dr Vogel's original recipe that was awarded a gold medal at the 1954 Bern International Food Exhibition in Switzerland. This original recipe containing a mixture of cracked grain, wheat, and rye, with no chemical additives supports Dr Vogel's philosophy.
Vogel's special combination of carefully selected natural ingredients and expert baking have created a bread that is not only good for you, but tastes great too. The result is a moist loaf that's natural, has a delicious nutty flavor, and chewy texture that makes Vogel's bread different from it's competitors.
