Im due....6 weeks from yesterday.... holy crap.
I went in yesterday morning for my now, 2wice weekly stress tests to monitor the baby.... ( im one of the lucky ones )
and they said it looked healthy but did I know i was having contractions..... and duh..."..UH NO...since I've never had them....how would I know what they feel like?"
Freaked me out a bit.... made me realize I still have pooop left to get in a group....
I feel like I can no longer get off the couch without help... I waddle at points during the day when im tired and i've only gained 8 pds....just think about those people who gain 50 or more...WHEW!
nursery pics coming soon....

HOLY!!! Even though my Mom did everything completely without drugs or anything I am still saying screw that and opting for an epidural...lol. I wonder how they expect us first time Mom's-to-be to know exactly what is really a contraction or just the muscles and ligaments stretching as the baby gets bigger?

Demon one~
Laughing about the "how were you suppose to know it was contractions" statement...but seriously sparkler, how WOULD you know???
I have never had children, but for all my friends here at home, I can tell you, when the baby is ready, it is ready.
You are at a safe point ....so do not be afraid.
My best friend from kindergarten (age 40) tho I am not yet..... until the end of March...
had contractions, and delivered 6 weeks early to a healthy , beautiful baby girl.
Just enjoy yer moments....and I agree w/ everyone else...go w/ the drugs *L*
You and baby will both be healthy demon one, this I KNOW!!!
Take care of you, and please keep us all posted, as we love ya!

I remember the anticipation with my two girls, and counting all the fingers and toes and stuff.... That was before I figured out at home that babys cry alot. Hello baby, good bye sleep for the first month or two. Anticipation is building yet again for us too. First time for kristin, and even though I have witnessed the whole baby thing before, each baby seems like the first time.
Having witnessed both a c-section with each of my two girls, and a natural delivery with my ex girlfriend... I know nothing of the pain, but even though I couldn't feel anything, labor made me cringe...
If it was me, go with the drugs... They wouldn't give you anything that would hurt you or the baby... Trust your ob, and I look forward to seeing the healthy baby pics too
I agree with RA, it will be soon... I'm thinking somewhere between a week and a half to two weeks... Thats what my gut feeling is... Just relax, and everything will be fine...
I'm wagering on a pretty smooth delivery too Keep up the good work
