My co-worker brought her lil girl in today..she is 18 months old..a tiny blonde cherub..*S..I was sitting in my office working away..and i felt a tiny hand on my knee..I looked down..and she held her arms out..to me..of all people..the person that runs from babies..loves them from a distance..scared to death to hold one...what could I do..i picked her up..she put her chubby lil arms round my neck..tangled her fingers in my hair..dirty fingers all over my face..and sweater..and hugged me..*catches my breath*..yeah..i cried and hugged her back...sometimes the simple things mean so much..
