Of all the cowardly stupid things to do. I guess this just proves the mentality of the people she was trying to help? This was an old woman in her 60's..no threat to anyone ..more of a help than anything. I have to beleive that she was not killed by the people of Iraq. If she in fact was then they deserved sadaam's sickness. This woman made sure children had drinking water..food..medicines and the like. Why was she killed? What point did it prove? as far as im concerned it showed just what kind of lowlife we are dealing with. To kill someone who helped them live better..To kill an old woman..To kill a woman period! If they have a god he cannot approve of this if he does then they are all going to hell cuz that has to be the god they are serving! Not a loving kind God..nothing but a sick twisted idea of some kind of excuse for a God..Sometimes i feel like they need to level that country to the ground..but then that makes me like them in some ways..What will end this madness? Whats it going to take to stop this? I beleive remove every troop..every humanatarian group..news groups..contractors..doctors..anything that isnt pure Iraq..and leave them to theirselves..let em fight and kill each other..good riddence! it's important that we don't fall into the trap of saying 'they'....those responsible are not the entire nation
do not lose sight of the ordinary people there living through this hell daily and while i have to agree that i see no way out having chosen the road now travelled...for anyone...and that most probably the country will be left to decide its own fate (with oil under foreign control in some way), we cannot possibly understand what 'they' go through every minute of their lives just to survive
i'm not excusing anyone, what has been done and sadly will continue to be done, is inconceivable in our culture, but please we mustn't brand the whole country with the tarbrush deserved by a few
'they' being the iraqi people
Fi
a lil footnote...let's not forget that she was 'allowed' to help the people of iraq for more than 12 years....during sadaam's regime

ya cant BRAND with a tarbrush only stain a little...
time to give em 2 weeks notice to evacuate...
then........................................well ya know.
it is sad that anyone has to be killed to "prove a point"...and this woman did so much for both sides of this so called conflict...her husband is a national...i pray comfort for him.
sad-tragic-barbaric. war is hell.
i have a nephew over there as a civilian contractor and he's been there 10 years...i often wonder if the money he is making is worth his life?
oil...is it that important?
