i was NEVER that lucky! damn!



(and i see that no one has chosen me again) oh well, i'm used to it after all these years!

btw: i'd have to say my close friend, Penny. when i first met her, she was 15 and i was 18. she had the biggest crush on me, but i didn't want to start anything with the age difference about to come into play. man, i was an idiot. my sis told me once that she had a crush on me and i just laughed because i thought it was a joke. personally, i see myself as "not so good looking" for some reason. i've been told numerous times that i'm cute, hot, and sexy, but i just don't see it. if you ever see me saying that i'm sexy, it's a joke that i'm doing.

anyway, this girl came into my room once, a month or two after i met her, and she was wearing this very short skirt. i was lying on my bed listening to music (Metallica, of course! ) and she came in without a knock or a hello. i look over and she asks if i want to see her new shoes. without thinking about my bed being low and the fact that i'm lying there about knee level to her, i said "sure". let's just say i got an eyefull of someting.......and it wasn't shoelaces! i guarantee she knew what she was doing--and it worked! hehehe

now i'm 24 and she just turned 21. a couple of years ago, she fell for a guy and was gonna move away from this area. for some reason, it hit me like a TON of bricks and i suddenly realized just how much i really loved her and cared about her. with me being VERY shy, i couldn't just tell her that i was in love with her, so i wrote her a 7 page letter--front and back. i explained ALL of my feelings for her--including a poem i wrote for her. i tried to convince her to stay. i remember the last night she was there--she said "i love you too, but not in that way--i love you as a brother". it felt good to know that she did care about me, but it crushed my heart knowing that she didn't feel the same. she didn't leave with that guy and she stayed around for a while after that, but she has sinced moved away--not too far tho--i just saw her on a recent shopping trip to Pensacola, Florida (where she lives now--i'm near Panama City Beach, Destin, and Ft. Walton Beach--she lives about 2 hours away from me). she has a new guy--and i'm very happy for her now. i still love her to death, but i'm not "in love" with her.

i've had my heart broken a few times--including recently (about 2 or 3 months ago). i'll talk more about that, if any of you want to hear about it. i try joking about it, but it's tough when everyone that you know is happy in relationships and you're lonely, as usual. (things are looking up tho--so don't worry about me!)

besides, if my heart breaks again, there won't be anything left of it and i won't need to worry about it anymore! (sorry--i just tend to joke about these things--to ease the pain of the stuff that's happened before)
