well.. E is not addictive dispite what u may have been told.. as with any drug, there is a potential for abuse.. some people never build up a tollerance.. some people do right away.. i never did.. i mean.. i used to do E every weekend when i lived in PA.. but when i came back here i stopped and had no problem doing it.. E has been proven to have medicinal uses.. in psychiatry.. it breaks down all communication barriers.. and u are able to sort thru your feelings alot easier.. i know it did with me.. doing E changed my life for the better i think.. it allowed me to see things that i wouldnt have seen sober.. cuz sub-consiously, i chose to ignore something and was able to see it then..E is a powerful psychiatric tool and was used in marrage counceling before it was made illegal (btw at the hearings to decide whether it should be made illegal, the judge found absolutly NO reason why it should be made illegal.. but the DEA over-rode that and did it anyways)

XTC is NOTHING like heroin.. they cant even be compared.. E will not kill you unless u have an allergic reaction which is EXTREMELY rare.. it is not addictive.. and ya know it pisses me off.. people always walk around saying "oh theres heroin in E.. blah blah" .. that is true to an extent.. there is ONE.. just ONE type of E that has heroin in it.. which is 4 leaf clovers.. and green triangles have DXM in it (cough supressant found in most cough medicine.. people have had bad reactions to these pills due) ... but ANYWAY, it makes NO sense to include heroin in E.. or coke.. or ketamine.. or anything.. it is cut with LSD.. and the reason for that is.. heroin, coke, ketamine.. are all more expensive than E is.. using them to cut E or put into E pills is not only stupid, but the dealers would be losing money and drugs.. PLUS.. the oral amount of heroin needed to get high is FIVE TIMES the amount put into .4 leaf clovers... so it would do nothing to you anyway.. E cant even be COMPARED to heroin.. heroin kills.. literally.. heroin addicts will kill people.. steal.. anything they have to do to support thier habit.. ive never heard of someone on E flippin out like that and doin some stupid shit like that... E is a peaceful drug.. and if used responsibly, i definatly believe it is beneficial to exploring yourself more in depth and finding out more about yourself.. why you do things.. its really amazing.. the first time i did E.. it was like 3 months of conventional therapy.. it was like the source, nature, and sometimes even the solution to all my problems were completely obvious.. hehe.. but anyways, its NOTHING like heroin.. not one way is it...

hehe.. i dont know who u get E from , but ive taken.. approx. 50 diff kinds and they all had either mdma or mda in it.. true there are some kinds that are bad.. but ANY drug can get to you.. like i said, i had absolutly no problem stopping .. even after weekend after weekend.. stopped cold turkey.. i dont know what u mean by nodding?? .. ive never had a bad experience on E nor has anyone i know.. matter of fact i introduced some people to it.. and they loved it.. said it was the best experience of thier lives.. E is definatly a breakthru drug.. and it'll only kill u if u dont respect it.. and respect your limits..

E was used in psyciatry back in the 70's and early 80's as a theraputic drug.. it was used in marrage counceling and the such and it was found that it was *extremly* helpful.. it allows you to look past whatever anger u are feeling that may be influencing u to think a certain way.. or may let u see things that u never saw before.. and it lets you sort thru them .. looking at things from every point of view.. and solving it.. in 3 hours.. for $25.. but then it started getting out onto the streets.. u used to be able to walk into a bar and buy an E pill the same as buying a drink.. they give u a cup of water and a pill and thats it... it wasnt until later when E was made illegal.. reason given was "no one should have the right to take a drug that has been proven dangerous" .. well what the fuck?? whats liquor and tobacco doing legal then?? it makes no sense.. none of it.. its all bullshit..

as for solving the worlds problems with violence, its definatly possible.. could be used to solve alot of things.. but oh well..

Matthew Collin (with contributions by John Godfrey) has provided a clearly written and very detailed discussion of the drug Ecstasy's effect upon people, their goals and politics, and upon society. Mr. Collin does *not* stress music. Instead, Mr. Collin discusses music as part of Ecstasy's effect upon people.

Mr. Collin describes Ecstasy as "the euphoric peak of a lifetime". One's first Ecstasy experiences are strikingly empathic and stimulating. Tactile and verbal communication are delightful, and dancing and music acquire their own lives. Ecstasy's sensory and empathic effect combined with its related clubs, music and dress codes make it especially attractive to first-time drug users.

With continued use Ecstasy users lose the initial ecstatic feeling. To regain the original ecstatic feeling users first try larger Ecstasy doses. Within a year larger Ecstasy doses fail, and users try other drugs (cocaine or amphetamine-like Ecstasy variants). Once lost the ecstatic feeling is gone, but the user now is using hard drugs. And organized crime often accompanies hard drug sales.

The chapter "Techno Travellers" is intriguing because it discusses Ecstasy users' impact upon English politics and society. Groups of working class Ecstasy users (like the "Merry Pranksters" documented by Ken Kesey) believed that occupying public and private property and that providing deafening music was their right. They dropped out of society, acquired expensive vans and sound systems, and hosted shows and festivals. The travellers joined compatible environmental and political groups' demonstrations, their sound systems providing "a focus of attention". The author discusses the travellers' constant battles with English police (to the point of driving through police roadblocks and digging trenches in fields to stop vehicles). Mr. Collin speculates on how the travellers funded their travels.

Mr Collin has written a clear and fascinating book that documents how, in one short decade, Ecstasy "transformed whole areas of the social landscape of Britain -- but into what, exactly, was still unclear."

Ahhhhhhh to re-live the utopian days of 1988-1992 again. The music scene was populated by suburbanite holidaymakers and council estate chancers. The sort of people who would never gain admission to the elitist clubs in London in a million years. Illicit warehouse parties were on the rise and there was a proliferation of VERY good and affordable Ecstacy.
The chemically induced affability of the Ecstacy crowd meant less inhibition, less "cool bravado" and ZERO hostility. Even the local hard heads and football hooligans would end up hugging one another in the new clappy-happy atmosphere. The only imperative was to dance, dance, dance and experience the total collapse into hedonism.................you really should have been there....*G
