Oh you and me both Tee Ehn, girl I could tell you some stories about what my ex did to me. I just can't tell you how bad it was. There are some things that a man can put a woman through that rips away her dignity, and I think my ex husband found out what every single last one of them were and put me through it.

I agree with you genie...cut them loose first.
There is no huge and as emotionally devastating as finding out the one you love is being intimate with someone else.
Finding out that the energy that they should have been putting into saving the relationship that you had been working so hard on, they have been putting, literally, into someone else.
At one time there had to be something about them you cared about, leave them with an iota of dignity.
To do any different is cruel and selfish.

Is reformed cheaters like reformed smokers?

This topic reminds me of that saying....People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones....

btw Genie if you walked up to me in a bar and gave your opinion on how you felt I should lead my life....there's a good chance you'd be wearin my drink out the door..*L*

btw I guess I should add I dont think people should cheat...but really who thinks anyone should cheat..*L*..I think people do things for reasons only they understand alot of the times...
I also think if you put your life out there to be judged it will be...
In a perfect world we would all be perfectly happy ..white picket fences etc....In a perfect world..If any of you find where that world exists...lemme know would ya..

How bout placing the shoe on the other foot?hmm, why is it always guys guys guys!Come on ladies, please. I don't mean to sound corse, but guys aint the only ones. Not to mention it isnt always the man who is abusive in a relationship, believe me , Words hit harder than fists, and leave more permanent scars than any other incident. If i could have money for those...."ladies" who kept tellin me im the only one, im the one they love, they only want to be with me, I would have more money than Bill Gates. Lets face it, or better yet, lets ask this, and i will even go the "man" route. You are married to guy who is soo mentally as well as physically abusive that you are afraid to leave him in fear of what he will do when he gets REALY upset, there is no marriage except on paper, is it still cheating if you find someone, be with them, yet keep it hidden outta sheer fear?
just a thought. sorry if i seem to be a jacka$$ on this, im not. Have agood one

Heidi, it wasn't a "how you should live your life comment", cause God knows I'm in no place to tell anyone how to live their life. It was more of an observation, a "what would you do" type question. And no, I don't literally do it. I don't even go out to bars anymore, but when I was saying is when I use to with Peaches and some other friends...these people both men and WOMEN...would be people I know personaly..I mean hey it's a small town...I would know them and knew they had their spouse or significant other waiting at home on them. I wouldn't literaly do it, but I would sit there and watch them leave with another person or try to, and I would just sit there and wonder what would their response be IF i had walked up and asked then, "How would you feel if you were the one sitting at home right now and she was in your spot right this minute about to leave with someone", or something along that line. I never said I would be telling them how to live their lives. I just think anyone and everyone, no matter what it is you are doing...should remember it could always be done to you and people should think about how would they feel if it were happening to them. They need to reverse the situation and think about it. You know what I'm saying??
