rain

as the rain falls softly from the sky
it reminds me of tears flowin from my eyes
warm and calmly they fall from the clouds
like angels cryin softly not makin a sound
the rain drops make us run to not get wet
but it's jus water nothin to really fret
sometimes they are warm and others cold

As the rain come pouring in,
it feels as if this is the end.

A love gone wrong, a heart that is broke,
I feel no longer a lucky bloke.

As the tears fall i reach for the sky,
damn it all, why did the love have to die.

At least i had love for while,
I should be happy for now she smiles.

Some else gives her what i could not,
I suppose love is not my lot.

I smile and strengthen my stride,
My chest out, full of pride.

I laugh now for if she only knew,
From another her new love flew.

There will be a day when her head will slump,
Once he has what he wants, away with her he will dump.

Only then will she becomne scared,
realize this, she flew from the one who cared.

As the rain come pouring in,
I walk the streets with a mighty grin.
