Ya know that lab pup we kept, he was just a little under 5 months with all his shots......etc
Got sick-took him to the vet Tuesday thru Thursday everyday cuz he wasn't gettin' any better... the dumb ass vet first said parvoe was runnin' rampant and he
never checked him for it until Thursday and found out he HAD it!!!
We had them put him on IV'S Thursday but by then it was to late and he died durin' the night Friday, I can't help but think if he had been tested for it at least by Wednesday
it might of made the difference --FUCKIN' VET!! GRRRRRR.... Why I've been gone!

Man it's like losin' a kid! The way he was growin' (5 mo old and 64 pounds) he would've been a monster lab) I outta sue that SOB!
Oh well the good side is that my sons lab mated and she might be preggers..

Wild , I know what you are going thru because this happened to me back Jan. 1970. I owned a collie who had gotten cancer. The vet told me that he would cut off her right front leg so that she would live a few more months. Then he laughed about it. I wanted to go after him to beat him up. A police officer who was a friend of mine held me so that I would not hit that dumb vet. My collie's name was Kandi and I had her put to sleep so that she would not suffer anymore. Kandi was only 7 years old. I still miss her very much. I have not owned a dog since then.

lab pups are like a ton of alka seltzer in a glass of water...energy bustin out all over the place and glad to be in the water.
