This is a thread for bitching about everyday stuff that drives you nuts.
(Yeah...I know we already have "The B......G Post", but it's full, and I have lots to bitch about.)
I'll start it out.

1__AOL

Y'all who use AOL might have noticed recently that AOL has a push going on to get people to upgrade to 8.0.
Well, right about the time they started, I started getting bumped off-line about every 5 minutes. Everytime I went to "help", it told me that upgrading would solve my problem.
The problem is...I run 7.0 now and it keeps telling me that my PC can't carry 8.0.
I finally had to completely uninstall AOL and start over.
This solved my problem, but after re-installing 7.0, one of my security scans found 17 "tracer" programs buried in the files.
If I didn't have "AdAware", AOL would be following my every move whenever I come on-line.

ASSHOLES!


2__MCI [img]graemlins/phone.gif[/img]

MCI is one of my phone service providers.
For the last several days, I've been getting "out-of-area" calls where no one was there when I answered.
Tonight, I sat and held the phone for nearly 30 seconds, and finally someone spoke.
It was MCI.
I wasn't late on my bill or anything, THEY WANTED TO KNOW IF I'D LIKE TO "PAY IN ADVANCE"!
All neatly figured according to my past bills.

BOTHERSOME MORONS!

The worst part is that I had to ask the lady to repeat herself 5 times because her Mexican accent was so heavy that I couldn't understand her!
If you're going to do phone work in the U.S., you need to at least speak English well enough to be understood!

DUMBASS BITCH!


3__Left-lane drivers

Here in Ft. Worth, we recently had a rather hot debate in the newspaper about people driving too slow in the left-hand lane.
Can you believe there were actually people who wrote in and said that they considered it their "civic duty" to drive 55-60mph in the left lane in order to "prevent other people from breaking the law". [img]graemlins/snail.gif[/img]
Other people answered that if they did it in front of them, they were gonna' get run over.
One local columnist finally ended it by quoting from the "Texas Rules of the Road" that...UNLESS YOU ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PASSING, YOU'RE NOT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE LEFT LANE!

If you can't talk on a phone and stay in ONE LANE and WITH THE SPEED OF THE SURROUNDING TRAFFIC...HANG UP THE DAMN PHONE!

4__Gun control

What will it take to convince all those liberal idiots that gang-bangers don't carry $2000 50cal. guns...and even if they did, what makes people think that passing another "feel-good" gun-control law is going to make them suddenly see the light and turn all their guns in to the police?

AOL...I got rid of em! Tired of their BS! I went back to Bellsouth and after I told Kandy how much Bellsouth has changed and how much I liked it, she dropped AOL too and went back to Bellsouth herself. AOL can kiss my ass!
I am always getting calls that say "unavailable" on my caller id. I don't answer it! If they can't let me know who they are, they don't need to be calling my damn house. Plus, most times if you do answer it, there is no one there! Either that or you get an automated thing telling you "to hold for an important message." Fuck that! Don't call MY house, interrupt MY day and then expect me to hold until they get on the line and throw a sales pitch for some shit that I didn't want to buy in the first damn place!
As for the guns...don't even get me started! It is my right to own a gun and use it to protect my family if I have to. We have alot of guns and no one is gonna take them!

That is why I make sure what I eat is washed because you can never tell what country the food is from (unless, ofcourse, you read the label lol) what kind of AIDS freak picked it, who packed it who carried it etc. They make fun of my freakiness in England by intentionally putting coins in their mouth and licking their fingers just to piss me off lol. They probably wouldn't even mind of someone sneezed in their food. Disgusting!


AND I thought the left lane was exactly meant to be there to pass and go faster than the snail lane! Some idiots. Over here they do tend to always go loads faster on the left lane. In England driving on the left lane means you have to pass from the right lane so sometimes I get confused lol.

Gun control, I understand where you're coming from Hunter. We have no guns here really and no crime, nobody has guns.. or gun control for that matter cause who needs guns I don't want to see any lol. But it's a whole different thing in America since throughout history you had to have guns to fight the powers right? Which is why they say in England that Americans should have gun control since you have no need to fight authority in today's world. But what does anyone know who has no experience of guns lol. Britts don't carry guns either, none of us do. Except for us Hunter families lol


Speakin gon cellphones while driving is illegal here too.

MY rant is telemarketers! I always just bitch to them if they call and just want to get them the hell off my line... BUT now I'm on vacation I want a job soo bad.. I have many interviews next week but for now, I am a telemarketer since I could start instantly and get the pay by provision too. How embarrassing [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
I feel better by saying it's telemarketing of a magazine which's money goes straight to child patients. Wonder why tho, medical care should be free. Maybe it's like one of those "meet your idol before you go blind" or something. That's what I do in England for child cancer patients.
Ohwell I am a telemarketer until I find me a better job. Gotta do something. My mother is not proud hahah [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
