i got some cards in the mail last night.. which was a surprise in itself, but i looked at the address...

and they're from my inlaws.... considering our relationship with them, i was very surprised...

even more so when i opened em and saw that they had sent me not just a couple cards, but some money, too...

-my inlaws haven't exactly been too keen on the idea of jay and i being together, so finally... after 2 years *L they finally think of me as part of the family...

so anyways...

for a couple years now i've been thinkin a lot about a new tattoo... shit, i've even drawn up 5 or 6 that i'd like to get done...

the minute i saw the money i saw the tattoo i wanted, so .. on the 19th i'm getting new ink! -does a lil dance-
i'm excited *L

well, i got it on the 19th
i went to a shop that had been reccommended by several people,
including the owner of the shop i got my first tattoo in

i took my drawing in.. told the guy... this is what i want.. exactly like this.. don't changed a thing.. don't fix the lines, don't add lines, don't do nothing, just do it like this.. he said yep yep, no problem.. looks great.. this is gonna look awesome...

for someone so well reccommended and talked so highly of,
he sure did a fucking butcher job on me...

i'll be damned if the name of that shop, or the artist who works there, will ever pass my lips again

thanks, guys... it fuckin blows...

i decided i was going to let him do the outlines and if he did a good job, i'd get him to finish it... so now i have a half finished tattoo and i'd be surprised if i can find an artist who'll fix it... most artists i know don't want to touch another artists work, unless its a cover up.. so we'll see... my guy's pretty understanding.. but this is kinda pushin it....

what really blows is taht i could have spent the money on something useful... but no.. i wanted a new tattoo...

i'm peeved at myself more than anything *L
