Softball starts tonight

Our first softball game is tonight. I'm real excited, we all chipped in to get a new bat....Worth Supercell.....i'm not sure which model, i haven't seen it yet. I also was able to find my old glove which I thought I had lost, I will have to go get a cheap left handed batting glove at wal-mart this afternoon before the game though because since my glove is so old, there is no padding, and i have to wear a batting glove to prevent numerous blisters from appearing. it starts at 9:15 I believe...so anyone in the Conway area, just come to the main softball complex and come cheer on the Computer Works softball team. Actually, you don't really want to come, people might make fun of you for cheering for a bunch of computer nerds.

How did the game go?

well the game went alright even though we lost. final score was 15-5 there favor. I did go get me a glove, but they expected me to pay 15 bucks for a pair of batting gloves when I only use a left hand glove. on top of that, i only intended on using the glove one time until i could go get either a mizuno or a nike glove and wal-mart wanted me to pay 15 for either rawlings or franklin gloves. so i said forget that and headed over to the golf section (i went to wal-mart by the way). there they had 5 dollar gloves that i would be able to use for golf later on when my new nike golf glove wears out...it will be a nice interim glove anyways. so i got this nice new golf glove that i wore with pride while playing softball. i think i found the gloves that i want, now all i need to do is find a sporting goods store around here that would actually sell it.

i will try to remember to post all of our games and the results for those of you who want to keep up.

Game on Thursday the 24th at 7:30...my quest for a batting glove is still on...i went by sportstop in little rock this afternoon...they didn't have a lot to choose from, they did have one particular glove that i was impressed with, i think i might get it.

Went to that sports place over by wal-mart this afternoon-found the perfect glove(well almost perfect)....it's a mizuno...so it matches my glove (fielding glove). it's black just like i wanted, and it had added padding in the fingers since my old glove is so old...i needed the extra padding supplied by a batting glove....plus to top it all off....the thing was 25% off....i got it for less than 10 bucks...i was so happy
