On friday night, my brother's battery went bad in his truck. while we were trying to jump it (my wife and i in her car), she began telling greg that her battery was better because she had had it for many many years, and it was still good.

well, wouldn't you know it, this morning, she went to leave for school, and the battery was dead.....i'm talking about totally dead, like barely enough juice to light the interior lights. i'm afraid i'm going to have to purchase a new battery for her car.....and that sucks

that bites man. A couple months ago the same thing happened to me. One day it was fine. The next, it had a bad cell and I had to get a new one.

all is well...it took me about 15 minutes to take out the battery, take it to the local auto parts store, have it checked out and then reinstall it, as well as about 65 dollars to purchase the thing....but considering the battery is 6 years old, i'd say we got our moneys worth out of it.
