I've got a few more pictures as requested from New Orleans. These are just a few pictures from the drive down St. Charles Street on our way out of town. I was in the back seat of the suburban which would explain why the window and interior shows up in a few of the pictures. and some of them might be a bit blurry because most of them were taken while we were moving.

here are a few of the houses that I was very impressed with....unfortunately, i was not able to get the shots i wanted, because these pictures do not do these houses justice at all......

actually....no...i've never seen houses like those here in conway...however i would love to know where they are, because cristi absolutely loves houses like these.

there is a similar area in little rock off of fair park but the houses are much much smaller.

two of my favorite houses in conway can be
found on caldwell.... one being a fabulous white
house (on the southside) with an upper deck to
die for....
another is just across the street (east) which
is a fabulous home... countered only by the
single early century home on prince between
donaghey and salem.

there are other fine houses, similar to your
second house pic, on college around the CBC area

son of a gun...i don't know why i didn't think of that.....there is one house in that area that i absolutely love....i can't be sure if we are talking about the same one...but i'm thinking that your white house with the deck to die for is incredible....is that the one with the white fence around the very large yard? and unless i'm mistaken there is a pearl white cadillac escalade ext that sits in the driveway most times when i drive by...

yes, those houses are very similar in beauty...but to describe st. charles street....take that same stretch of homes and make it about 10 times as long with houses just as large if not larger than that white one all the way down.....

if i ever get around to it, i will have to try to remember to get a picture of that house i'm talking about and post it to show everyone what we are describing.

i will certainly grant that ANY street that
has those fabulous weeping limbs (with or without
moss) has GOT to be fine. there is a street like
that in pine bluff (believe it or not)....
really beautiful.

i dunno if we are describing the same white house.
the reason i say that is because i don't think
this house has that big of a backyard....
i'd compare it to mine... but i guess you've
never seen that one either

but yeah... its a white house on caldwell (its
on the left if you were heading toward uca)....
and its almost purely made of frikken windows...
and its just really lovely.

This is a picture of one of the very very large cathedral's that can be found throughout new orleans. the area is predominantly catholic from my understanding, and they don't play around when it comes time to build them a church....once again, the pictures just aren't worthy of how amazing the buildings really look

Church

Here is a shot of the car that was behind us...I was trying to get a shot of the area behind us and how pretty the view was just looking down the street....but i didn't want to hang out the window, so i stuck the camera out the window and this is the shot i got....i'm kinda curious what the guy driving was thinking when he saw me take a picture of him. you can also see how the trees hang over the entire street failry well in the picture....it really is gorgeous.

Finally, this is a quick shot of an old lady and a trolley in the background. This is one of the streets in the area that right down the middle they have trolley tracks where they actually run. you can see here a picture of one of those trolleys
