omg=oh my god

lmmfao=laughing my mother fucking ass off (variations might include something about rolling on the ground)

mod=moderator (of a board)

and *stars* indicate an action on your part i.e. *flips board the finger*

there are more...but I can't think of them...others might be able to contribute
