I think this is so sad. If you don't check out the link...I'll just tell you. This girl obviously has an eating disorder and she writes about it I suppose in hopes to get support???
I think what is even more sad is that people are encouraging her! It seems like an obvious cry for help or attention...but I can't help but ask why.

that is pretty sad...
honestly though it almost seems too over the top to be real (of course, i've never been exposed to anyone with an eating disorder, so i don't know if that is how it really works)
but yea....that sucks for her

The Mary Kate stuff is new...last night it was just the list of what she'd eaten that day. Yeah...it does seem a bit much.

i've never been a big fan of eating disorders
enough to offer empathy to them. i realize that
sounds asshole, but its just not my kind of
bandwagon.
however, i must agree that it seems quite common
and also (in about 80% of cases) just a plea
for attention. i also agree that most of the time,
its really just a bad self-image complex propigated
and maintained by the usual sources of media and
social circles.
buuuuuuuuuut...
i believe we all suffer from such image constraints
and its just a matter of the extreme to which
we take them (being american and all).
i've posted this before (but i'm gonna post it
again)... my sister was in a similar boat several
years ago and to a degree, remains in it. she
is very self-conscious about the food she eats
but in a weird way... certainly not to the extreme
this girl (in the link) has.
regardless, those images of mary kate look weird
to me... i dunno if its my vision or perspective
or what, but she looks like a friggin midget,
for real.

this may be old news...but from looking more into why this girl would want to write about this and why others would encourage her...I found out that pro-anorexia web sites are not uncommon at all. Apparently, there are a lot of people out there that feel anorexia is a chosen way of life and support it 100%. It's crazy to me.

GROSS!
You could seriously do a study on the human skeleton with that lady as your model.
Take it off, DJ! Take it off!
Her feet are huge!
