Biography:

Gavin is tall, around 6'4", weighing in at a trim 208 lbs, with a shaved head and mismatched green and blue eyes. Several tattoos show across his frame, on his arms, legs, and torso. The most prominent of these is, in Old English style lettering, the word "WOLF" tattooed across his stomach.

Though he looks young enough, he is in fact old beyond reckoning, his age dating back to a time before time was truly measured in the way it is today. So old is he that even he has no idea of how old he truly is.

Swordfighting, knife wielding, shooting, running, sneaking, survival skills, computers, and cooking. Also known to do the odd tattoo for the person who asks nicely. Once, he was known to defend those too weak to defend themselves, as well as going into a bar and tearing it up till dawn, trashing the place and loving every minute of it, even if he got beaten down. Now, though, he's retired, having toned down a bit...though there is the occasional hint of youthful fire that crops up now and again.

He has empathic capabilities, is an excellent listener, and is wise and patient. Striving for the most part to go unnoticed, those that encounter and interact with him are forever changed by the experience, it is said. He is loved, or he is hated, or else is ignored, and he would not have it any other way. Where he truly shines is as a healer, both physically and mentally, though he does not see himself as such. He would say that all he does is help those he can, in what ways he is able.

Has a flirtatious nature, but despite that is loyal to those he loves to a fault, willing to fight for them and if needs be to sacrifice all to see to their well-being.

Rumors of magical gifts abound, though have never been confirmed. Among those rumored are a gift for spells of combat, healing, and a certain understanding and ability to speak with beasts.

And the final touch, the coup de grace as it were, is an ability rumored but never actually seen, that the moniker of the Wolf is not one that he got by accident, but because it is in actuality what he is in his spirit, and has the ability to change into that form. None living, at this date, have seen it.

The rumors are true, of course. But the reason no one has seen him in the shape of the wolf is simply because he chooses to assume it alone. Once upon a time, he was an Alpha in his own right, long and long ago, the leader of his own pack, his own beloved family. Due to men's intolerance for his own kind and his own failure to protect them all, they were killed by vengeful hunters, including his mate and his own children. Alone now, the only survivor of his pack, he has chosen a life of loneliness, rather than let his own failure be repeated again.

Still, one might see him, sometimes, by the light of the full moon, wandering the wood at night in the guise of the winter wolf.
