These my friend are some burgers that i cooked up on my grill...i would take a picture, but i don't want to go outside, i'll have to remember to do that. But this grill was given to me but none other than our very own TG as one of my wedding gifts.
i must say and Cristi can attest to this, these were some of the best burgers we have ever had...i'll come back in a minute and explain how we cooked them.

oh yeah...i was going to post about how i made them
first of all we made four burgers in total and we used about a pound and a quarter for all 4 of them...
they were good sized burgers....not really really big..but big enough
anyways...we started with some room temp butter, fresh garlic and some parsley...we mixed that together and put it in saran wrap in the shape of a log and put it in the freezer until it became a solid again...
as we were forming the burgers, we took about a quarter (a fairly good chunk) of the butter log and put it in the middle of the meat. this caused the inside of the burger to cook throughly without over cooking the outside of the burger.
it also gave the garlic and parsley flavor that helped out alot...i also grilled the onions which gave them a wonderful flavor. well, when you bite into that burger...all the butter and stuff that didn't cook out comes pouring out and it is the juicest think you have ever tasted...they were incredible.
i would suggest any one who ever grills out to give this a shot..

let's get some pictures to prove it

Those aren't burgers, DJ. Those are meatballs on super-market sloppy-joe buns.

well, it was supposed to be a burger....and it was really really good no matter what you call it.

LOL! Tasty or not, appearance-wise, they look closer to Dagwood-sandwiches; Easier to eat sideways than squash-down to chomp.
And no offense to Cristi, but DAMN! A full-inch slice of tomato would seem a bit much for a burger. Why not just put whole Gerkin pickles ON burgers, rather than a couple thin slices between the cheese & ketchup?

They are pretty damn thick slices
