So, it was a really cool ep then? Can't wait.

Wah! I hate cliff hangers! Yes Jas, it was a good ep and don't read this topic anymore til you watch them both.

bmat--agree with you about the body. why include it's recovery, and why store it in a cryo lab, unless there was going to be a resuscitation. all the same, i am watching the news to see if c.b. is taking work elsewhere.

as far as crichton goes, i assume there is some sort of force-field in place protecting him (like there would be in a star trek medical facility).

asis--i love cliff-hangers! and fortunately, we only have six weeks to find out what happens. in previous seasons i think we have waited for months.

the best thing, though: crichton's only hope of getting back to earth (urp) now requires that he go straight through scorpius. he has to defeat scorpius to get home. very cool.

Izzy- ahh!!! Forcefield- good idea! I'm still confused though-

I thought that green light was the sterilization beam, now it's gone, which is why the doctor died?

Only six weeks? I can survive that wait.

My next question - so did the wormhole technology get removed before Scorpie arrived? Can Scorpie retrieve it? I wasn't sure - I was still too upset from the ceremony.

For those who haven't seen the season finale, this post gives away the ending . . .

bmat--the operating room was under a sterilization beam, which was switched off by Scorpius. however the top of Crichton's head was also inside some sort of field, and that was still on.

jandy--we don't know if the chip recovered the wormhole data, but presumably it did. one of the tendrils the doctor touched triggered john's memories about wormholes. since the tendrils were "feelers" for the chip, trying to locate what part of john's brain contained the information on wormhole technology, we have to assume that the chip absorbed the knowledge. which means Scorpius now has it.

a bigger question is whether john still remembers anything about wormholes. it's possible this knowledge had to be "cut out" of his memory in order to remove the invasive tendrils of the chip. if john has forgotten everything he knew about wormholes, then he has to get the chip back.

now a question of my own. there is a short scene where Crais is holding a data chip in his hand and tells Talyn, "Yes, I too wish we could have told Aeryn about the information on this chip. I believe it would have made her the happiest person among us."

Now I wonder what in the world THAT means. Earlier, Crais was talking to Aeryn about family. I wonder if he knows something about her family members.
