Farscape

Hope you're right about Aeryn returning, Asis. Aside from being so fascinated by Pilot, Aeryn is the main draw for me, character wise. & I hope it will be a weekly, steady role for her return & not similar to the guise of something like 'Scorpy in John's mind' kind of thing.

Finally got to see last Friday's end of season Farscape finale ep. It was a real WOW!

Just wondering if that was a live action scene of Aeryn in the water? In any case, even if it was a digital enhanced scene, I'm impressed, and if it was a live action scene, Aeryn's really brave, being strapped on the escape chair & all.

The planetary scenes were thrilling!

For the Aeryn fans, the promos photos for this season clearly have her in them...

There will be a Farscape special tonight just before the season 3 Premiere at 7:00 Central Time.

I?m still digesting the Third Season?s opener so this will be a short post. I wasn?t expecting them to close the loop so quickly on Aeryn?s death. I thought for sure they would ?milk? it a bit for at least one or two more episodes. Now we have to wait and see what will happen to Zhaan. I did enjoy the interaction between the crew, especially John and Aeryn, and between Zhaan and Aeryn.

As for the Farscape special? Was I imagining this or was there genuine ?chemistry? between Mr. Browder and Ms. Black?

Wow! I enjoyed this ep a lot. I like the special before hand. Gave me a better feel for some of the character interactions.

But the ep, man... Fast paced, twists and turns. And is it my imagination or does Aeryn look particulary cool/dreamy when she comes back. I like whatever suit they had her in. It suited her color well.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Zhaan and how death has affected Aeryn.

And what about Chiana and D'argos son? That should cause some feathers to fly. Next weeks ep looks pretty good.

2 things disgusted me. Scorpy licking Aeryn's face in the flashback on the special and Chianna and Jothee. D'Argo needs to disown them both. I love Chianna and I can't believe the writers made her do that. Ewwwwwwwwyuck.

Why all the hype that Claudia would be back but not as Aeryn? Is Aeryn gonna be that changed by death, so much opposite to the way John Sheridan was changed by death? Was it just to enhance the drama that maybe Zhaan is gonna die instead. As far as characters go, if we had to lose Aeryn or Zhaan, I'd rather keep Zhaan. Although I do love Claudia and Aeryn both, I would rather see Claudia play someone else on the series than see Zhaan gone.

Pilot went off, didn't he?

Crais now seems to be a bonafide friend. And what is his secret for Aeryn that will make her so happy?

Crais and Scorpy (Lani and Wayne)as well as Starke (Exactly when has having him around been a benefit?) are all listed in the opening credits now, so they must be appearing very regularly this season, at least half the episodes one would think.

The more I think about this episode (which I did think was great, btw) the more the phrase "I'm not dead yet." keeps crawling into my mind. I thought it a bit convenient that both the doc and Aeryn could be brought back and I have a feeling the a way will be found to save Zhaan too.

Nice to see another Scarran (sp?). Too bad he didn't get to have his way with Scorpy though.

And Sindatur, I don't know if I would call Crais a friend. He has always had his own agenda and I don't think that has changed. He does seem to have a thing for Aeryn though which could work to all's benefit, but Crais still does things for Crais.

I was grateful for the Farscape special. It helped fill in a few gaps for me.

Really very satisfying episode for me. Too fast paced in the life and death department though. Having Aeryn brought back so quickly and nonchalantly seems to have diminished the startling effect of Aeryn's demise that the writers were probably going for. I'm very happy that Aeryn was brought back as she is one of my favorites (don't get me wrong.). And she was brought back in a realistic & somewhat believable (to me), way, via the mind meld & sharing Unity with Zhaan. Now we have the troubling after effect of Zhaan's demise. I hope she is brought back as well but I hope it isn't made to appear so easy. Could be wrong but I have a feeling that there may be a compatible donor graft somewhere in Diagnosan's vast storage area that may help with this process. I don't know if Grunchlk (Don't know if this is the correct name for the assistant?) is dead or just frozen, but he may be instrumental in Zhaan's resurrection, & if not through him, then through the Diagnosan (whom, by the way also was revived so miraculously & whom I thought was dead!)

I'm impressed by the Scarrans. The one in this episode is my second experience with those awesome beings. Frightful and frightfully strong, what a formidable species! I could almost sense that Scorpius was a little bit more than upset with a Scarran so near. The cold weather outside the laboratory did seem to have some effect on the Scarran as it closed in on Crichton and D'Argo.

I was a bit surprised at Jothee's & Chianna's betrayal of D'Argo. I kind of sensed things were leading up to that. Don't know why, but I was surprised nevertheless. I think there is going to be hell to pay on that score! Wonder if Rygel will tell or Jothee or Chianna fess up?

Some of my pent up anger at Scorpius was somewhat relieved when John kicked the Scorpius clones behind. That felt good!

I just knew that when Talyn fired on & destroyed Scorpius's escape shuttle that Scorpius would survive, but it hadn't occurred to me that it was a ruse and Scorpy was still at the Diagnosan's laboratory. Can't wait to see the reaction when everyone learns that Scorpy is still among them.

& lastly?.way to go Pilot!! I guess sometimes even Pilot can be pestered only so much.
