Azziz, actually I didn't even realize my post had gone up the first time as I was having network problems at the time and it didn't look like I was successful posting at all. Bu thanks.
Merle, okay you were right. Black Scorpion was CRAP!!!! I can't say enough bad things about it. Aside from the one obvious good thing it did have, it had no plot, no believable characterization, no nothing! I felt like I was watching a soft-core porn movie without the sex. Not that I, ahem, have ever seen one. Maybe we'll see re-runs of it on USA UP All Night some time. The Sci Fi Channel should be ashamed of itself.

LOL, the best thing it had was the scorpian and the frog story at the beginning!
It seriously tanked. Hell, it made Cleopatra 2525 look brillent!
Thank goodness we have Dark Angel!

Agreeing about Black Scorpion. I liked the little story about the frog and the scorpion, but turned it off after the first half hour. I suggested to my husband that trying to do vigorous exercise in an outfit like that had to be uncomfortable, but he didn't comment.

hey guys--
here's the official welcome from The Master at Speculative Vision:
"Wow...I've been invaded! COOL
I PROMISE that Speculative Vision will not sink into the swamp Erythrina! This is a very robust piece of software that has oodles of capacity available, and I don't plan on ever scrapping the forums because I enjoy them. Believe me, SV ain't goin' away!
Iznardi...I agree, the TV and movie forums haven't been as popular as some of the others. Not sure why really...c'est la vie! Sometimes I need to work on it in spurts myself (stupid "real" life keeps interfering)
Anyway, welcome to all--I look forward to hashing out the latest FS eps with you (anyone got the action figures yet? I DO! Told ya' it sucked me in). Please let me know if you have any problems, questions, or suggestions. I'm always happy to oblige!"
Now I ask you--when has our group ever been treated so nicely!! So if you have taken a gander at this site yet, flock over and gander away. Some viners are already posting at the Farscape board at the Forum (under the Liars, Guns, etc. topic). Also, we've declared it a "no spoiler" zone--we're just discussing the current episode.

That was taken from the one year anniversary topic. I think it was called What ScifiSites means to you.
Thanks for the link CT.

AsIz and all:
Speculative Vision's Forum is set up much like the old Vine Boards. There's a section on discussion of movies, a section on tv, one on books and book reviews, etc. You can start new topics, as well as make new posts, under each section. The basic difference at SV is that topics that you would have found at the general boards at the Vine--things like creative writing, serial novels, etc.--are under their own section here. But it is still a fairly easy site to navigate. It contains a section on links to other web pages and you can email links to the web master for inclusion. The actual posts are just like here at hostboard--latest post appears at the bottom.
SV lacks grams, a people panel to tell you who is online, and the chat rooms are hard to find and not private. However, it does have a newswire and a number of other features that are kind of unique.
Above all, it seems to be reliable. I have never seen it crash and I have been using it for several months.
