This is a link to see a list of the theaters that will be showing the Legend of the Rangers trailer before showings of Lord of the Rings starting December 28, 2001.
I'm amused that both these movies are known by the initials LOTR. :-D

Folks, the closest showing of the B5 LOTR trailer to me is in Cranberry, PA. I thought they were aiming at the "Top Ten" markets nationwide. Cranberry is in Venango County, which has a total population of maybe 50,000. We are talking serious boonies here! It's not even near a college campus. I could find no rhyme nor reason to the placement of half of the theaters in PA.

Aha! They're showing it in my neck of the woods. I wonder if that's a guarantee that our LOtR will also be shown at the same theatres. Stranger things have happened before when it comes to promos.

I have to choose which of the rural areas around here to go to to see it. Or to Detroit. I'm flexible!

At the Ponce de Leon Mall in St. Augustine, all we got to say was a trailer of a new Tom Cruise movie (yes, ANOTHER one!). As I said in the theater, they should just make one long non-stop Tom Cruise movie and save on advertising.

<font face="georgia" size = "+1">Just a reminder that next Saturday (January 19th)is when the movie airs. 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM ET/PT. Keep in mind that cable users usually have a two-way box, and sampling viewing habits is possible. So, if you leave to watch the movie with someone else at their place, turn your cable box on to the SciFi channel before you go. Yeah, maybe it's like stuffing a ballot box, and maybe polling doesn't take place on your viewing tv. Certainly doesn't cost anything.

I was just going to invite the cool art student (I think she draws anime) from next door to come watch it on my TV. They seem to have a 13 inch tube, and I'm not sure if they have cable.
I met her once outside our doors. She saw a B5 fan club button on the b-board I have up in the hallway. She pointed it out. We talked. A while later I bumped into her again and asked if she knew about the new movie (and hopefully series). She didn't. I promised to invite her over for the show. Back when I mentioned it, it seemed like an eternity until the movie. And now, it is right around the corner.
Now, all I have to do is get the place cleaned up enough for a visitor. Perhaps as a student she won't be too particular. I have been doing a massive clean up job on my apartment, but right now it is in the "dark before the dawn" stage (read as "messier before the neatness"). Hey! My apartment is in the "Hour of the Wolf"!
