Chris Strouth from pound Andrew adkins from Coeburn I think that Chris Strouth will be a great Football Player and then i think another person who could be a great player in football other than drew hubbard that is a sophmore Will Mays he has the Strenght and the Heart But he needs to get a meener streak in him but you better watch out for some of these boys in the future. Andrew adkins from coeburn is going to be a hell of a basketball player

Not sure about other schools in the LPD, but both Robinson boys & Miles Osborne for the Wave should make strong showing in upcoming years on the gridiron.

The current 6th grade class has numerous multi-sport athletes and if they stay together will be very good when they get to Gate City High. Tyler Bird (son of JV basketball coach), Dusty and Seth Clark (twin brothers of Nate Clark), Austen Arnold (Mom played at GC and Dad played at Sullivan North and Florida State University), Logan Byrd, Wes Hughes, Nick Bright & Jake Kendrick to name a few. When blended with the current 7th grade, should be a very, very special group. Can't wait until they wear the Blue and White.
