    reports say the deal is done with Baltimore and Steve McNair is just waiting to be released

    This could give Ray Lews and Co. 1 more shot at it, but thats about all I see. I dont know how much Ray still has in his tank.

    I would say that you are right, but Ray Lewis is the backbone as long as he is there. Ed is the future though.

    so does this vault Vince Young to the starting QB position? I thought they wanted to let him learn a year?

    I think if they are smart (haha, they are going to get rid of McNair. how smart can they be?) they will let Billy Volick or how ever you spell his name start
