I'd like to see GC win this one but I wouldn't.
1. That would help PV in power points if they won.
2. I'd like to see a rematch between PV and Lee if GC loses.
I think GC has a really good chance to win this one. I said in the other thread that it might be time to look at "big picture" playing and rest some of the nicked up players. Godsey could use an extra week to heal up and it is untelling who has what hurting. LPD title is wrapped up, gotta think their will be a letdown this week and GC will be letting it all hang out looking for revenge for last year's loss. Plus it is in GC.

Deja Moo: The feeling that you've heard this bull before.
It would benefit PV much more if GC loses. They're fighting for one of the same playoff spots.

I disagree, were in. If GC wins were probably the 1 seed. If we lose to Appy we still should get in, were only two pts behind LHS for first as it is now. A win over Appy and were the 1 seed and loss and were the 3, I really dont see a scenario where PV doesn't get in.

PV 35, Appy-16 ----PV could beat Appy passing, however Coach Robbins will use the same gameplan as last year. He'll use the spread offense to spread our defense out, and run the ball up the middle from the spread offense. It puts way to much pressure on Appys small defensive line. I hope Im wrong on this one.
Burton 28, GC 14
Lebanon 42, Northwood 14
Clintwood 54, Pound 6
Lee 21, VA High 20
Tazewell 21, Honaker 35
Castlewood 20, Coeburn 14
JJK 28 Haysi 35
I kind of misspoke there. It's not that they're playing for the same spot just one of the 2 that are left with Lebanon and Honaker already in. If I were a PV fan, I'd hope and wish for every D2 team with playoff hopes to lose every week.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit. Burton looked solid against Clintwood, but not great IMO. It was my first time seeing Burton this year and I wasn't impressed at all.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if GC beat them.
Officially retired
I think it will be a good game, but I think Burotn will pull away in the 2nd half
Well I don't see why not, Gate City is playing for alot-Burtons playing for some braging rights I guess to go 10-0 is some motivation.
Gate Citys playing at Legion Field were we haven't lost a game this season, we have out-scored the opposition (SP) 121-45.
Everyone (almost Russle out for the season) is healthy and burton has sufferd a injury or two (Didn't seem to show from what i've heard though still) and as posted above may be looking into the big picture.
Isn't it Senior Night at GC too??

Well not just the 10-0 motivation
the fact that GC was the last team to beat JIB in the regular season and the fact that Burton hasnt beat GC in GC
