It's definitely not normal by any means, but I remember the last time J.J. Kelly had a good dance team (or any dance team for that matter), a guy named Bret(t) Chisenhall got that started up. He went on to some dance school in New York after high school. He now dances professionally and comes in to do a lot of the choreography for Kelly's 9:00 Club Shows.

So although unethical, if it's what they wanna do and they're good at it then I say go for it. Congrats to the girl for finishing out the regular season.

I was standing right there on the sideline and the incident in question with the girl and the boy from Clintwood happened right in front of me. Now, if she tried to block me I would try and drop her or whoever it was blocking me...man or woman...legally...but the guy threw forearm shots to her throat and helmet and the guys number was 14 I believe instead of 41. I think.
Anyway, after I yelled a few words...there one guy on the chain gang from Pound came over to me and said "that was the first person he has hit all year!"

Watched what we could see of the hit that is being talked about. She took a pretty hard hit, and Slobber Knocker pretty much described it right. She jumped right up after it, so I give her credit. The way the doctor described it when I asked him, was that it was like her neck got hyper-extended. It was one of those questionable hits you see lots of time, just normally its not against a girl, but she's a freshmen and if she plays more, she'll learn that a play isn't over till its over.

I'll say this, I've watched how she conducts herself and its definitely tough on her, but she's handled it well and she has a lot more moxy and guts than a lot of people do. What we think is right or wrong isn't the case, its what the rules are and the rules say she can play, and she has done nothing but do everything demanded of him, so there is no reason to be critical of her at all IMO.

I say if she wants to play let her play. I think it's cool that a girl can hang with the guys. As was said before kickers are girls anyways. I bet if a college kicker would have took that hit he'd still be laying on the field crying

I understand what you're saying, but then again there are some girls around here that could flat out jack up some of the little fellas that suit up for football these days. lol.
